Terms of Use

Effective date: August 15, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Risemode app. By using Risemode, you agree to them.

Using Risemode

You must be at least 13 years old. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. Don't misuse the service — for example by attempting to access other users' data, circumvent usage limits, or interfere with its operation.

Your account

An account is optional but required for cloud backup and AI features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Not medical advice

Risemode provides general wellness, fitness, and motivational content, including content generated by AI. It is not medical, psychological, nutritional, or professional advice, and it may occasionally be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, and stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort. Never disregard professional advice because of something in the app.

AI-generated content

Coaching replies, suggestions, plans, estimates (such as calorie estimates from photos), and generated images are produced by AI models. They are provided as-is, may contain errors, and should be treated as suggestions — use your own judgment.

Your content

You own the content you put into Risemode (journal entries, goals, photos you analyze, and so on). You give us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you — for example storing your backup and processing content you send to AI features — as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content (other than your content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Termination

You can stop using Risemode at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded (including under the Australian Consumer Law, where it applies).

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always at this page with its effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
