Risemode Privacy Policy
Risemode (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a health, fitness, habit and personal development application. This Privacy Policy explains what information Risemode collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Risemode may collect or process:
- Health and fitness information, including information imported with your permission through Apple HealthKit.
- Fitness, workout, nutrition, sleep and related activity information.
- Account identifiers used to operate and secure your Risemode account.
- Subscription and purchase-status information necessary to provide paid features. Risemode does not receive your full payment-card details when purchases are processed through Apple.
- Photos voluntarily submitted for features such as food or nutrition analysis.
- Content you voluntarily enter into Risemode, including habits, goals, journal entries, check-ins, workout information, nutrition information, Future You responses and conversations with AI-powered coaching features.
Apple Health and HealthKit
Risemode may request permission to read selected health and fitness information from Apple Health through HealthKit. Access is optional and controlled by you through Apple’s Health permissions.
HealthKit information is used only to provide health, fitness, progress-tracking, personalisation and related functionality within Risemode.
Risemode does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, advertising profiling or data brokerage, and does not sell HealthKit information.
You can change or revoke Risemode’s access to Apple Health information at any time through your device’s Health or Privacy settings.
How We Use Information
Information is used to operate Risemode, maintain user accounts, track habits and progress, provide workouts and wellness features, generate personalised insights and AI-powered coaching, analyse voluntarily submitted food images, manage subscriptions, provide cloud backup/synchronisation where applicable, secure the service and improve functionality.
AI Features
Certain Risemode features use artificial intelligence. Information necessary to respond to a user’s request may be transmitted to AI processing services through Risemode’s infrastructure. This may include relevant information such as user-entered workout, nutrition, sleep or coaching context.
AI processing is used to provide requested Risemode functionality and is not used by Risemode for advertising or tracking.
Service Providers
Risemode uses service providers to operate parts of the service. These may include:
- Clerk for account authentication and identity management.
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management.
- OpenAI, accessed through Replit infrastructure, for certain AI-powered functionality.
- Replit for application infrastructure and related services.
These providers process information only as necessary to provide their respective services and are expected to protect information appropriately.
Advertising and Tracking
Risemode does not use health information or other user information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Risemode does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
Data Retention and Deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Risemode, provide requested functionality, comply with applicable obligations and maintain security.
Users may request deletion of their account and associated information. Where account deletion functionality is available within Risemode, users can use that feature to initiate deletion. Information associated with the account will be deleted subject to limited retention where required by law, security or legitimate technical requirements.
Your Choices
You may choose not to provide optional information or grant optional permissions, although some Risemode features may then be unavailable. Apple Health permissions can be changed through your device settings.
You may also request access to or deletion of personal information associated with your account by contacting us.
Security
Risemode uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
Children
Risemode is not specifically designed or directed toward young children. Users should meet any applicable minimum-age requirements for use of the service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Risemode develops. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
